Indonesia Elections is a blog of NIMD and Kommunitas Indonesia untuk Demokrasi (KID, Indonesian Community for Democracy).

In Indonesia, NIMD and KID support a growing number of Democracy Schools that train young politicians and activists in democratic practices and values. Many graduates of these schools are now participating as candidates in the upcoming local and parliamentary elections.

On this blog, Democracy School graduates from three regions (Malang, East Java; Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan; and Lembata, East Nusa Tenggara) report from the campaign trail, providing an insider's view of local politics in practice.
